There is a project on a website right now to create a quilt showing children made flags from 100 different countries around the world. See the site below for more information.

I talked to a few classes and they thought we should participate… and Sok Ngy from 4/5 Yellow volunteered to make the flag and have her photo taken to submit to the quilt project.

24 Hour Run… 24 Hour Painting

At this year’s NISC annual 24 Hour Run… students ran the field with the help of staff, family and friends to keep the sash moving for the entire day 8.30am, 6 March -8.30am, 7 March to raise awareness and funds for Facing Africa and National Borey Orphanage/School.
During the run, we added a mural – or 3- that changed and grew over the time.
As usual our students rose to the challenge.

Have fun at home with your little one (or big one) mixing up some play dough using materials in the kitchen.
Enjoy and make as many colors as you can think of, get creative… try adding glitter or dried colored rice, experiment!

NISC and the InterContinental Phnom Penh are teaming up for an art exhibit Phnom Penh. The exhibit will be on display from 21 November through 11 December, the opening evening will be 21 November at 4pm at the InterContinental Phnom Penh.
